"Ding-Dong the (B)itch is Dead"
Now the real battle with Iran - and the remaining Mullahcracy terror proxies - begins...
Until I get up to speed post-Shabbat (when we’re not online - except for emergencies ) read Sheri’s post:
According to reliable reports, the IAF used 83 tons of bunker-busting munitions to slam down through four stories of reinforced concrete to hit Hezbollah chieftain Hassan Nasrallah’s underground lair. There, he and his cadres of dozens if not hundreds of terror leaders were reportedly gathered to watch Israeli Prime Minister, Benyamin Netanyahu’s address to the United Nations General Assembly.
Ironically, that broadcast of their arch-foe was the last thing they saw on (well, under) Earth; the Air Force strike commenced shortly after Netanyahu concluded his presentation.
Meanwhile, closer to home, Sarit Zehavi, of the Alma Research Center with a plain-spoken, and informal update from her bomb shelter in northern Israel about 20 minutes from us in the Gush Teffen region (Google it):
She and her family came under direct and severe rocket fire as did my own village, Kfar Hananiya, near Carmiel - along with nearly all of northern and central Israel throughout the day.
After a Friday evening and overnight successive barrages across much of the country, we were in the midst of Shabbat morning services when our own sirens went off - literally for those who may be familiar - during the Torah reading. We were, as yet, unaware of the extent of the IDF hit on Nasrallah in Beirut, besides rumors heard from non-Shabbat-observant residents, who attend synagogue, nonetheless.
Trust me: reading Shabbat morning Psalms when the building is actually shaking from explosions and my alert app is ringing like New Years Eve is utterly unlike the fusty-dusty Rev. Lovejoy of the Simpsons.
There were no hits within our village and no injuries to those hurrying to shelter.
It was - frankly - a tense, but perhaps oddly reassuring event. I'll expand on this in a coming video clip - pending circumstances in the next 12 hours.
The massive IAF strike also reportedly killed Abbas Nilforoushan, the deputy commander of Iran’s IRGC “Quds Force,” along with hundreds of other Hezbollah and possibly Iranian and other terror-group affiliated personnel:
Eve Barlow:
“Like a scene out of The Godfather Pt II, Prime Minister Netanyahu went to the UN –an international institution salivating in antisemitism – while his nation’s army had its hand over the button to destroy Hezbollah. In a move of sheer genius, he delivered his no-bullshit speech and minutes later the IDF took out the entire chain of command of Hezbollah, including Hassan Nasrallah in a huge round of explosions on the terrorist organization’s headquarters. Nasrallah - the butcher of Lebanon – not only turned Lebanon into a terrorist holding bay but he slaughtered scores of Americans. It was Bibi and the IDF who got justice for decades’ worth of Hezbollah’s victims, not the United Nations. What an embarrassment for them.”
This report will be updated as events dictate. Meanwhile, please feel free to share this post, subscribe, and help support my efforts to bring you accurate, sourced reporting, and close-up-and-personal slice-of-life scenes here in northern Israel and our Life on the Border - thank you for your consideration:
Yeah that image… bless you for your reportage🙏
Thank you Dave. Laughing and crying with Eve and Lee Kern(s) giving it socks. Thank you for the music you posted and the Psalm, I have my own book of Psalms now.
