As a retired, yet "ever-recovering reporter," for numerous radio, TV, online, and print outlets for over three decades, I’m also an admin at Life on the Border, an Israel-based 13k+ member FB group. We feature personal accounts, group Zoom sessions, and related stories of Israeli residents, primarily residing along the Gaza Perimeter and northern border with Lebanon. Part of my knowledge comes from my role as a member of our village’s community resilience team, and being a veteran newshound.

Beyond reporting: Capturing the Essence of the Land, and, The Sweet Life of Beekeeping
From our modest home, nestled in a small village in the heart of the Galilee, I offer a unique photography service that captures the spirit of the Land of Israel and features many of those images here on Substack. With my lens, I bring to life the diverse landscapes, each photo telling a story of heritage and beauty, and the faces and places of the Land of Israel. Whether you’re seeking to immortalize the sacred sites or the everyday moments that make up the fabric of this sacred place, my photography services - including personal one-on-one training and online mentoring - are tailored to showcase the best of Israel through a professional and artistic lens.
Putting on my beekeeper’s veil, my days are often filled with the gentle hum of bees from our Neshikha beehives, set against the picturesque rolling Galilee hills. At Neshikha, we’re not just about producing artisanal honey; we’re about creating a sustainable future for our bees and our extended local and international community of new friends, loyal customers, and professionals interested in learning more about beekeeping here in Israel. Our bee safari workshops offer a glimpse into the world of beekeeping, while our beeswax-based products bring the essence of the Galilee into homes around the world. Join me in fostering a connection with nature and discover the sweetness that comes from caring for these remarkable creatures.
