Chana Koenig’s story is both heart-wrenching and inspiring:

The founder and owner of www.cocoahagalil.co.il, Chana is a US-born gourmet chocolatier living and thriving in seaside Nahariya in northern Israel.

For the last 11 months, she and tens of thousands of residents in the vicinity have endured near-incessant aerial attacks by Hezbollah-launched exploding UAVs and rocket fire.

Despite her coming under a lethal drone strike just pre-interview, Koenig says she's safe and will continue to bring joy to people with her succulent hand-crafted specialty chocolates.

Part of her mission is now collaborating with Neshikha.com Honey to co-produce a range of tempting Rosh Hashana gift baskets, that inspire joy and resilience, despite the war raging around her.
