That Time My ‘Iron Dome Honey’ Marketing Photoshoot was Mugged by Reality (and Rockets)
Just a behind-the-scenes update from a working photographer and beekeeper in northern Israel, trying to keep the family biz afloat, while my part of the country is being targeted by mass murderers
The video clip of the honey-harvest-under-rocket-fire is here:
When a product photography session for our Iron Dome Honey gets close-up and personal, with alerts going off during the shoot - it's not just a marketing slogan...
"The IDF reports that around 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights this morning. Air defenses intercepted some of the rockets, and there are no reports of injuries. The barrage follows last night’s IDF strikes on Hezbollah weapons depots in Lebanon and the killing of a key terrorist in a drone strike."
Alert sirens have sounded throughout the day in the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights.
As of 14:00 (2pm), Tues., August 20th, the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terror group has fired at least 75 aerial armaments, including ballistic and line-of-sight rockets, explosive UAVs, and high-trajectory mortar shells at civilian areas and IDF forces across the Upper, Lower, and Central Galilee, and the Israeli Golan Heights.
Hezbollah alone has inflicted barrages of some 10k more weapons since initiating unprovoked attacks against Israel on Oct. 7th, 2023, in coordination with Tehran, Hamas, the Houthis, and Islamic Jihad which have killed and wounded scores of Israeli civilians and soldiers in the north.
The wanton, intentionally inflicted savagery has forced some 80k Israelis from conflict areas, devastated homes and businesses, industries, and the economy; cities, towns, and farms have become barren, scarred communities.
As a struggling artisanal business hard-hit by 11 months of war, we're offering you a chance to help out: https://neshikha.com/product/iron-dome-honey/?fbclid=IwY2xjawExbO5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHdAqgJrRgU2znaYeLLpbfH8tIfTT_GbNzGmcbtGM5gJTrADTTvvwKy16hg_aem_e3BegOQ3m6xyBvmwdv90sA
